While they cry about dropping revenues, newspaper are still profitable--just not so attractive to stockholders. I suppose the trees are happy, tho. Failing newspape...This book certainly covers a lot. Failing newspapers, Texas secession, and I had never heard about Germans in Texas. Very interesting. I had not thought about it much before, but I think the loss of newspapers may more depressing than books going electronic.
